Riverdale Grange is a small independent hospital providing specialist inpatient treatment for young people and adults with an eating disorder. The hospital was originally established in 1995 and from its opening the clinic has provided individual, recovery focused treatment for people with eating disorders. The hospital has grown over the years to include services for young people and currently has 18 beds which are equally divided across the young people and adult wards.
All of our 18 inpatient beds are commissioned by NHS England. As such all our referrals are through the approved national referral forms; we are sorry but we do not currently accept referrals for individuals seeking to pay privately for treatment.
We work very closely with the NHS to provide care and treatment which is caring, responsive, individual to need, and highly specialised and work exceptionally hard to at all times provide the highest possible standards of care and treatment.
Our NHS England Commissioner is Nicola Mawson and can be contacted,
by telephone: 0300 311 22 33
by email: england.contactus@nhs.net
by general post (including complaints): NHS England, PO Box 16738, Redditch, B979PT or for service of legal proceedings and formal letters

We understand and accept that when someone is experiencing an eating disorder they can feel ambivalent about change. Our approach positively promotes recovery and works with individuals to increase their motivation and confidence in their ability to recover.
